    • Cynthia Brown, 337 E Austin Ave., age 65, Thursday, May 23, 1946, at Hurley Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 25, 1946 at 3 p.m. at the Dawn Chapel. Rev. Lyal H. Howlson will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Body will be at the funeral home. Service will be conducted by Darwin L. Groves, 2512 N Saginaw at Rankin St. She had resided in Flint for the past 27 years. Was a member of the Nazarene Church, Wood and Lyon Sts. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Charles Smith of Flint; son Cecil Brown of Detroit; 29 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother Martin Shepard of Plymouth, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. I can not find the original at this time.
