Notes - Daniel was the son of Jacob Sebold and Hannah Drake Sebold. Two different sources list his middle initial as B. and D.
He grew up in Kingwood Twp., Hunterdon Co., New Jersey.
Daniel married Phebe Bateman Sebold on Jan. 24, 1829 at Kingwood Baptist Church. They had nine children: Matilda R. about 1830, Israel B. about 1832, Susan B. about 1834, Amy F. about 1837, Charles W. about 1846, Sarah I. about 1850 and three others.
The couple lived in Franklin Twp., Hunterdon Co.
Daniel was a farmer.
From Dennis Sutton's extracts from 'The Hunterdon County Democrat', January 6, 1880, Forty Second Volume, No. 20:
"Local Department
Daniel B. Sebold died in Virginia last week. His remains were brought to Baptisttown [sic.] for interment. Mr. Sebold was a native of Kingwood township, and for many years resided between Baptisttown and Croton. Some years ago, at the close of the war, he invested in real estate in Virginia and removed there. He had many relatives living in Kingwood and Franklin townships."
