Willielmo Knyght, de Bradley, Worcestershire (b.1325) is the earliest known ancestor of the Knight family. A number of his descendants immigrated to America where they settled in Massachusetts, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. By the 1880s, some members of the Knight family had moved to Texas where they settled in Madison County. Descendants live in Texas and other parts of the United States.
