Patrick de Salisbury, 1st Earl of Wiltshire (AKA: Patricius Comes) was born circa 1118 at Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. He was the son of Walter FitzEdward de Salisbury and Sibyl de Chaworth.

Patrick was created Earl of Salisbury circa 1143. 1st Earl of Wiltshire at England. He succeeded his father in 1147.

He married Hele d'Alençon, daughter of Guillaume III "Talvas" de Bellême, comte d'Alençon & de Ponthieu and Hélie de Bourgogne, in 1149

Patrick was the predecessor of William FitzPatrick, 2nd Earl of Salisbury.

Patrick died in 1168.
