William Perry Enos, 64, of 45 E. Statler Rd. died at 5:35 a.m. today in Piqua Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health for several months.
He was born in Whitley County, Ind., May 16, 1917, a son of the late William H. and Gertrude MacEntarffer Enos.His first wife, the former Virginia (Mickey) Houser, died in 1974. He married Helen Hagernan Brown in June 28, 1975. She survives.
Mr. Enos was an active member of Greene Street United Methodist Church and had served as chairman for both the church board and trustees. He also was a member of Piqua Elks Lodge 523 and had been a member of the Elks' and civic bands for more than 45 years.
Mr. Enos formerly owned and operated the Home Dry Cleaners in Piqua for 42 years and in Pleasant Hill for a number of years, retiring in 1977.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert Wolford (Carolyn), Louisville, Ky.; a son, William Partick Enos, Piqua; a step-daughter, Mrs. Scott Looney (Judy), Anaheim Hills, Calif.; four grandchildren and two brothers, Charles Enos, Huntington, Ind.; and Lewis Enos, Piqua.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Famieson Funeral Home, 333 W. High St. officiated by the Rev. Darrell Loar. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
