    • Monroe- Harold L. Fordyce, 72, of 802 Britton Lane, died at 1:30pm yesterday at Middletown Hospital.

      Mr. Fordyce retired in 1969 after 37 years with Amrco Steel Corp., where he worked in the fitting shop in the fabricating department. He was a member of the Hamilton-Trenton Road Baptist Church.

      Survivors include his wife, Iva; a daughter, Miss Joyce Fordyce of Nashville, Tenn. three sons, Dale and Dean, both of Middletown, and David of Trenton; a brother, Howard of Lebanon; a sister, Mrs. Thelma Null of California; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

      Services will be Friday a 2pm at the Hamilton-Trenton Road Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bill Botts officiating. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Joseph R. Baker Funeral Home tomorrow from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm, and at the church Friday from 1pm till time of service.
