Mrs. Emma J. Houser, 77 Church of Christ Member
Emma J. Hosuer, 77 of ??? Washington, died at Piqua Memorial Hospital at ?:15 a.m. today, after an illness of three years. She had been a patient in the hospital since Nov. 7.
Born in New Carlisle Nov. 11 1888, she was the daughter of Isaiah and Martha Walters Byrd. Her husband Frank Houser died Dec. 25, 1960.
She was a member of the Church of Christ, and retired employee of the Centennial Bowling Lanes, and member of the D. of A. Ruby Council
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert Bragg (Patricia), Mrs. Paul Jay (Nina) both of Piqua; two sons William H. Houser and Rober E. Houser. Both of Piqua; a sister Mrs. Catherine Cyphers of Piqua and a brother Charles Byrd of Bradford.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:30 a.m at Jamisson Funeral Home by the Rev. James Deck of the Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9p.m. Friday
